He was born Arnold Ray Lefevere on December 20, 1942, in Abilene, Texas to Arnem Lefevere and Eula Fay Burleson Lefevere. Arnold’s father was a traveling salesperson for Kimbell Foods in Abilene, taking the family to many different places. He graduated from Clovis High School in Clovis, New Mexico and enlisted in the United States Army. Arnold proudly served his country for three years. He married Nell Coffman on April 17, 1970, in Novice. Arnold and Nell traveled all over Texas before settling in Coleman in 1995. He worked as a parts manager for the Chrysler Company for over 40 years. Arnold was a devout member of Elm Street Church of Christ where he was the song leader for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and the ranch life, which consisted of taking care of his cattle and sheep. Most of all he loved his family. Arnold was a loving husband, father, and grandfather; he will be missed.

He is survived by his wife, Nell Coffman Lefevere of Coleman; three children, Shannon Dale Lefevere of Coleman, Rachelle Cooley and husband Michael of Canyon, and Katelynn Barron and husband Cody of Coleman; seven grandchildren, Kynlie, Kathrynn, Korey, and Klayton Barron, and Braylee, Easton, and Camdyn Cooley.
