BECKY RENA' RUSH SPAN

Becky Rena' Rush Span, 49, of Abilene, Texas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday evening, February 19, 2017 at 7:26 p.m. after a short illness.

Becky was born September 21, 1967 at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, Texas. She was a 1987 graduate of Dawson High School in Dawson, Texas. She was an active member of Church on the Rock in Abilene, Texas. Becky was a devout Christian to her faith in God. She studied basic courses at Cisco Junior College and had different careers to include being a weight-loss manager and a special needs caregiver. Becky had a love for writing songs, poetry, and articles for publication in magazines and newspapers. You would be very hard-pressed to find anyone that had more passion for the Silver and Blue Nation. She loved her Dallas Cowboys.

Becky is survived by the love of her life, Andre Lee Span, of Abilene, Texas. A daughter, Chrysten Lofton and husband, Luke, of Brownwood, Texas. Her parents, David and Elizabeth Rush, of Coleman, Texas. One sister, Ginger Burks and husband, Doug, of Coleman, Texas. Three nephews, Jordan Robinson, and wife, Katana, of Hyrum, Utah, Zachary Burks and Ryan Burks, both of Coleman, Texas, four great-nieces, two great-nephews and numerous other family members.

Inurnment will be at the Coleman City Cemetery and a Dallas Cowboy themed Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, 400 West Pecan Street, Coleman, Texas.
