Betsy Louella Dodson

Betsy Louella Dodson, age 65, of Denver, Colorado, died suddenly on Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Porter Adventist Hospital in Denver. A service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 8, 2017 at the Coleman Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Daniel Stovall, pastor of Concho Baptist Church in Coleman, officiating. Interment will follow in the Coleman Cemetery, under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Coleman, Texas.

Betsy was born on June 14, 1951 in Coleman, Texas, to Teddy Mack Dodson and Tina Mae Griffith Dodson. In 1955 she moved with her parents to Denver where she has resided with them at home since that time. She attended the Wallace School until the age of 12.

She is survived by her loving parents, Ted and Tina Dodson of Denver, Colorado; several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jess Lee Griffith, Nellie Haggerton Griffith, and Ola Leavell Thomas. Betsy will be buried by her grandmother, Nellie Griffith.
