Bettie Forman

Our Mother, Bettie Forman passed away Tuesday evening at UTMB in Galveston, Texas. Preceding her in death is her parents, Fred and Minnie P. Stephens and her Beloved Husband and our Father Glenn W. Forman. She is also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. She is survived by her sons Glenn W. Forman and Steve Jacobs and his wife Kellie. Grand children Allen Jacobs and Wife Shana and Amber Filidei and Husband Chris Nance. Three great grandchildren that she enjoyed spending time with, Dylan, Ally and Logan.

Bettie was born in Gurley Texas, in January of 1923. She was only a few weeks from her 92nd birthday.

Bettie enjoyed the help and friendships that she received while at The Meridian Care facility. Their daily visits by her room meant so much to her. As anyone that knew Bettie from the City Tax Office knew she was not one to keep her opinion to herself. She led her life on the go and traveled with various church groups throughout the country, until her health finally slowed her down. One thing that never slowed down was her mind which was sharp until she passed. She will be sadly missed by all.

Graveside funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Coleman City Cemetery with Brother Don Harmes officiating. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
