Bobbie Jean Dwight

Bobbie Jean Sharp Dwight, 85, of Coleman, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo. Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 West Pecan Street, Coleman. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dwight was born February 25, 1931 in Wichita County, Texas to Harvey Sharp and Thelma Cowan Sharp. She grew up in Harrell and attended school there. On December 18, 1947, she married David Earl Dwight in Harrell. He preceded her in death in 2006. She worked as the assistant manager at Skillin's Drug Store in Richardson for many years. She also worked as a Med Aide at the nursing home in Bonham.

Survivors include one daughter, Delores Jean Barret of Stephenville; one sister, Doreen Wilson and husband, Jack, of Harrell; eight grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; three nieces and one nephew.

Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two sons, Clyde Harvey Dwight and David Allen Dwight, three grandsons and two great grandsons.

Memorial donations in memory of Mrs. Dwight may be made to Holiday Hill Nursing Home.
