Bonnie Sue (Parks) Lanham

Bonnie Sue Parks Lanham, age 55, of Coleman, died Saturday, October 6, 2018, at her sister’s residence, surrounded by her family.   Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, at the Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion with Sister Louise Strength officiating.  Interment will be in the Coleman City Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

She was born Bonnie Sue Parks on May 4, 1963, in Littlefield, Texas, a daughter of Bennie Parks and Donna Russell Parks.  In 1969, she moved to Coleman with her family, and attended school here.   She was a homemaker and a loving mom, daughter, sister, and aunt.

She is survived by her son, Michael Lanham of Coleman; her mother, Donna Parks of Coleman; four siblings, Peggy Johnson of Coleman, Billy Parks of Coleman, Rosie Watts of Burkett and Terry Parks of Coleman; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bennie Parks, and three brothers, Larry, Donald and Bobby Parks.

Visitation will be held 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, Coleman, Texas 76834.
