Charlotte Elizabeth (Livingston) Fenton

Charlotte Elizabeth Fenton, age 72, of Voss, died at her home surrounded by her loved ones,  on Monday, December 17, 2018, following a short illness.   Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 22, in Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in the Leaday Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Coleman.

She was born Charlotte Elizabeth Livingston on January 16, 1946 in Coleman, Texas, a daughter of William L. Livingston and Cecil Elizabeth Coffey Livingston.  She grew up on the Colorado River in Southern Coleman County and attended school at Mozelle.  She married W. F. “Tooter” Fenton III on December 26, 1960, in Gouldbusk and they were married for 44 years.  For over 20 years, Charlotte was the Medical Records Clerk for Holiday Hill, Inc., as well as a homemaker.  She was a member of the Church of Christ but had been attending Leaday Baptist Church.

She was a loving mother and Ninny to her family and friends.  She will be greatly missed by everyone.

She is survived by her three children, Weda Pyburn and husband Doyle of Lake Ivie, W. F. Fenton IV and wife Tammy of Orange, Texas and William L. (Willy) Fenton and wife Rhonda of Orange, Texas; eight grandchildren, Wayne Pyburn and wife Jesse, Fisher Pyburn, Hayden Fenton, Gage Fenton, Scarlett Pyburn, Savannah Fenton, Zack Fenton and Alex Fenton; three great-grandchildren, Kimber Pyburn, River Pyburn and Haizley Fresco; three sisters, Irma West, Sarah Tisdale and husband James, and Bobbie Jones, all of Coleman; her faithful companions, Precious, Bentley and Buddy.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren Wayne, Fisher, Hayden, Gage, Scarlett, Savannah, Zack and Alex.    Honorary pallbearers will be her cherished friends, Shelley Robinett, Tena Windham, Tae Aristondo, Lindra Hoffman, Penny Fulbright, Christi McGee and Darci Hronek.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 21, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, Coleman, Texas 76834.
