Dale Emerson Swan

Dale Emerson Swan, 80, of Coleman, died Thursday, November 8, 2018 at his residence.  Graveside service will be 3:15 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2018 at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas.  Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Coleman.

Dale Emerson Swan was born December 24, 1937 in Franklin County, Ohio to Emerson Ward Swan and Eileen Bower Swan Davis.  He grew up in Canton, Ohio.  After graduating from high school, Dale enlisted into the United States Army from 1960 to 1963 and was a Chinese Interpreter.    After being honorably discharged, Dale had a career in sales.  Dale enjoyed singing, and was gifted with a fine singing voice.  He moved to Coleman in 2000.

Dale is survived by two sisters, Evelyn Hinkle of DeSoto, Texas, Ellen Martin of Beech Island, South Carolina; one brother, Emerson Ward “Chip” Swan II, of Woodside, California and several nieces and nephews.
