Danny Webb, 65, of Ponder, died Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Denton Presbyterian Hospital in Denton. A memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 West Pecan Street, Coleman.
He was born June 2, 1949 in Coleman to James Edwin Webb and Emma Lelia Watkins Webb. He grew up in Coleman graduated from Coleman High School. He later graduated from Tarleton State University in Stephenville. Danny married Ann Moore in 1969 in Valera.
Danny worked as a Railroad Engineer with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway. He had lived in Gainesville for 35 years before moving to Ponder seven years ago. Danny loved camping with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Webb of Ponder; three children, Angela Wallace and husband, Austin, and their children, Ashlynn and Alex of Norman, Oklahoma, Carl Webb and wife, Crystal, and their children, Brandon, Asher and Kylan of Hutto, Melissa Lindsey and husband, Cary, and their children, Tyler and Maegan of Justin; two sisters, Gail Harrell of Sweetwater, Patricia Powers and husband, Ray, of Snyder and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, Ed and Emma Webb and a brother, Jimmy Webb, preceded him in death.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
