David Graham, Jr.

David Graham, Jr., age 82, of Coleman, died Thursday, January 13, 2022, at his residence.

The family will host a visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Stevens Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022, at the Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. David Ellison, pastor at Voss Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

He was born David Marion Graham, Jr. on October 29, 1939, in Big Spring, Texas to D.M. Graham and Virgie Inez Fannin Graham. He grew up in McCamey where he attended school. David proudly served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1957. He married Edna Engle on April 23, 1977, in Odessa. She preceded him in death on June 29, 2003. David married Mary Stanford in 2004 in Coleman. He was a truck driver for Central Freight and worked for Haliburton Oil Company, working in Venezuela and Holland. David enjoyed hunting, traveling, riding his motorcycle, and was a member of the Gold Wing Association. He loved his family and cherished time spent with them. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. David was a member of the Voss Baptist Church.

David is also preceded in death by his parents, D.M. and Virgie Graham; and two brothers, Lonnie Graham and Billy Graham.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Graham of Coleman; three sons, Virgil Allen Graham and wife Peggy of Coleman, Stacey Wayne Graham of Vermillion, South Dakota, and Jackie Meriworth of Gentry, Arkansas; one daughter, Karen McGee and husband Bobby of Coleman; one sister, Kay Moser and husband Daniel of Pottsboro, Texas; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested in memory of David to the Coleman Senior Citizens Center, 916 S. Concho Street, Coleman, Texas 76834.
