She was born Deborah Lee Hunt on May 2, 1963, on the Dyess Airforce Base in Abilene, Texas to Sammie Lee Hunt and Bobby Lynn Riley Hunt. With her father being in the Army, Debbie grew up in many different places. Debbie graduated from Cooper High School in Abilene. She married Bill Kenyon in August of 1984. Bill was a member of the United States Air Force, giving Debbie the opportunity to live in Guam, Dover Delaware, and Columbus, Ohio. After Debbie and Bill divorced, she enrolled at Cisco Jr. College obtaining a degree in nursing. Debbie worked as an L.V.N. at the Abilene State School, Hendrick Medical Center, French Robertson Unit, Mesa Springs, and Ballinger Nursing Home. Debbie loved being a nurse and took exceptional care of her patients. During her spare time, Debbie loved to be with her dogs, collecting roosters and chickens, and watching the History Chanel and Crime T.V. Debbie was a loving mother and grandmother. Spending time with her family brought her immense joy. She was a member of the Hillcrest Church of Christ and attended First Baptist Church in Santa Anna. Her kindness and loving spirit will be greatly missed.
