Dee (Blaine) Carlisle

Dee Carlisle, age 67, of Houston, died Saturday, September 1, 2018, at her son’s residence in Midland, where she had been staying for the last three months.  A graveside memorial service will be held for her on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Santa Anna Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Coleman.

She was born Doris Blaine on December 31, 1950, in Roxton, Texas, but was always known as Dee.  She was a daughter of Loyd Blaine and Vermell Yates Blaine White.  She grew up in Santa Anna where she attended school.  Dee was married to Eddie Merryman from 1966 to 1971 and to Richard Carlisle from 1972 to 1979.  She was a real estate agent in Houston for over 35 years, retiring on May 28, 2018.  She was Baptist.

She is survived by two sons, Jeff Merryman of Houston and Eddie Merryman and wife Angela of Midland; sisters and brothers, Margie Davis of Paris, Texas, Barbara Henderson of Bangs, Ted Blaine of Brownwood, Wanda McIlvain of Coleman, Wayne Blaine of Santa Anna, Diane Thane of Brownwood, Billy Ruth Blaine of Bangs; grandchildren, Hannah, Payden, and Dawson Merryman; great-grandchildren, Faith,  Jenna and Josh; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Clifton Blain
