Edith Rose Evans

Edith Rose Evans, 87, passed from this life to her heavenly home on June 18, 2023, at Holiday Hill Nursing Home. Edith was born on November 23, 1935, in Coleman County, Texas to Troy Evans and Cora Lee Martin Evans. She went to school in Coleman County and attended North Coleman Baptist Church. Edith worked most of her life as a nurse’s aide at various nursing homes including Ranger Park Inn and Holiday Hill Nursing Home.

Edith is preceded in death by her parents and one sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Edward Jackson.

She is survived by five children: Cathy Jo Preas and husband Jason, Guy Evans, Edith Ann Evans, Barbara Coleman and husband Monty and Pam Jones and husband Randy.  Also surviving are 10 grandchildren: Joshua Barkemeyer, Zachary Barkemeyer, Jonathan Dean, Jonie Dean, Jordan Dean, Jessica Cantu, LaRae (Villarreal) Meador, Luke Villarreal, Randal Jones and Brittany Jones Everett as well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

No visitation or funeral services will be held at this time.
