Emma Lamar Perez

Emma Lamar Perez, 56, of Brownwood, died Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the Coleman City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

Emma was born March 2, 1960 in Santa Anna, a daughter of Raul Perez and Elia Eulalia Andrade Perez. She grew up in Coleman and attended Coleman schools. She loved her children, Claude, Jr. and James very much. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Claude Murphy, Jr. of Brownwood, James Murphy of Oregon; four brothers and sisters, Eli Perez of Oregon, Frank Perez and wife, Barbara, of North Carolina, Sylvia Perez of Oregon, Dora Hayden and husband, Shawn, of Oregon and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raul and Elia Perez.
