Faye Dean, born on January 15, 1930, in Echo, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2025, in Grapevine, Texas. A beloved figure in her community, Faye was a devoted family member and a dedicated professional, leaving a legacy of warmth and kindness.

Faye enjoyed a commendable career at Stemple Manufacturing, Sears, and Allsup’s store manager for over 26 years. In her role, she was known for her ability to forge friendships with her customers and her exceptional management skills at the store. Her dedication and work ethic were evident in every interaction, making her a cherished employee and a confidante to many.

Education played an important role in Faye's life. She grew up in Santa Anna, where she attended school and laid the foundation for her future endeavors. Beyond her professional life, Faye was deeply committed to her community and her faith. As a devoted member of the Elm Street Church of Christ, she served the church in various capacities, reflecting her strong commitment to helping others and her love for her faith.

Faye also dedicated her time to volunteering, where she made significant contributions through the Coleman Senior Center, participating in the Meal on Wheels program. Additionally, she served as a volunteer for the local hospice agency and was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Coleman Fire Department. Her kindness and generosity were felt far and wide, as she touched the lives of many through her selfless service.

Faye was a loving mother and a supportive family member. She is survived by her two sons, Mike Hubbard and Vincent Hubbard and his wife Renee. Faye was a proud grandmother to four grandchildren: Haleigh Holloway and her husband Weston, Mackenzie Hubbard, Colten Erwin and his wife Katherine, and Ericka Porter and her husband Jared. In addition, she leaves behind a legacy of eight great-grandchildren: Kenzie, Kason, Dayton, River, Oaklyn, Valor, Avery, and Jonah. Faye also has a brother, Arthur Windham, and his wife Carolyn, who will miss her dearly.

Faye is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Clide Windham and Nena Gladys Flowers Windham, as well as her son, Richard Hubbard, along with three brothers and three sisters. Her absence will be felt by all who knew her, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

The family will host a visitation at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 27, 2025, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Martin, minister at Winters Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will follow in the Santa Anna Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman. 

Faye Dean's life was a testament to love, compassion, and service. She will be remembered for her generous spirit and the joy she brought to those around her.
