Our minds and hearts are saddened with the passing of Geneva Baxter, 95, of Coleman, Texas. She passed peacefully in her sleep of complications from congestive heart failure and ongoing shingles, January 19, 2021.

One of the last prayers said for Geneva before she passed, said by her daughter Laura, says it all. “Thank you God, for our wonderful mother, who has been a good wife, mother, friend, and an always steady, strong ever present influence in the lives of our family.  Our hope is that she is now in her heavenly home with our Daddy, and that all the good souls who have gone before her will rejoice in seeing her and “show her around”  We will miss her terribly.

She was born July 3, 1925 in Coleman to William Earl Greaves and Dora Mae (McBride).

She married the love of her life, Woodrow Jackson Baxter on October 22nd, 1945.
