Gerald "Jerry" Maxwell
September 30, 1935 ~ January 31, 2017

Jerry went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 31, 2017. Jerry was a man of incredible talents and abilities. He loved golf, flying, motorcycle riding, and painting. Jerry lived to teach and was fond of saying " I will teach anything, anytime." Jerry obtained his Ph. D from the University of Texas where he also taught. Jerry went to North Texas University at age 70 to obtain his teaching certificate and taught at Brownwood High School and at Howard Payne University for 10 years. Jerry loved his students and looked for every opportunity to insert Jesus into his curriculum. Jerry leaves his wife of 30 years Linda Laws Maxwell, three children, Laura Fulkerson, Jerry Maxwell, and Susie Martel. He leaves 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Jerry will be buried in a private family graveside service in Santa Anna, Texas. In lieu of flowers please support your local Hospice organization.
