Gregory Scott Percival

Gregory Scott Percival, 52, of Coleman, died Friday, November 6, 2015 at his residence. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 9, 2015 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 West Pecan Street, Coleman, with Rev. Jeff Dean officiating. Burial will be in the Glen Cove Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

Gregory Scott Percival was born April 21, 1963 in Montgomery, Alabama to George Whitaker and Peggy Barr Percival. He grew up in Dothan, Alabama and served in the United States Navy. He moved to Coleman in 1999 from Las Vegas, Nevada. While living in Coleman, Greg was manager of Dollar General in Coleman, as well as Bangs and Abilene. He also worked as a bookkeeper for Central Texas Opportunities.

Survivors include his father and step-mother, George and Martha Whitaker of Clifton; his mother, Peggy Percival of Opp, Alabama; brother, Jeffery Mark Percival and wife, Lisa, of Lincoln, Alabama; step-brother, Wayne Felty and wife, Delana, of Coleman; step-sister, Melissa Felty, of Coleman; nieces and nephews, Hillary, April, Heather, Dylan, Ean, Courtney and Mallory; great niece, Madlyn and several aunts and uncles.

Greg was preceded in death by his step-father, Jim Percival; grandparents, Jim and Effie Whitaker and Kenneth and Rachel Barr.

Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 9, 2015 at Stevens Funeral Home.
