Guadalupe "Lupe" Garza

Guadalupe “Lupe” Garza, age 49, of Coleman, died Friday, January 24, 2020 at Coleman Healthcare.

The family will host a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 27, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 303 E. College Avenue, in Coleman with Father Laurent Mvondo, officiating.  Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.

Lupe was born November 13, 1970 in Memphis, Texas to Robert Garza and Mary Guerra Garza.  He attended school in Memphis and San Angelo.  Lupe worked as a chef at Chili’s in San Angelo for 10 years and did apartment maintenance in San Angelo.  He loved playing golf, going for a run, and was an exceptional cook.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Garza.

Lupe is survived by his mother, Mary Garza of Coleman; two brothers, Adam Garza of Austin, David Garza and wife Bonnie of San Angelo; niece, Eriana Sanchez of San Angelo; nephew, Nicolas Garza of San Angelo; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
