Jamie Lou Dawson Parsell

Jamie Lou Dawson Parsell, 58, of Caro, MI went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 21, 2014. She was born in Coleman, Texas, the daughter of Tommie and Barbara Dawson, on December 04, 1955. Jamie was the oldest of 3 children. She graduated from Lee High School in Midland, TX. Jamie started her adult life in Midland, TX, and this is where she had her two sons. She later moved to Caro, MI after marrying her husband Sid Parsell. Jamie loved and enjoyed music by George Strait. Jamie cherished and loved her family more than anything. She was the kindest and most loving person with a heart of gold.

"I am home in heaven, dear ones; oh, so happy and so bright! There is a perfect joy and beauty in the everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over, ever restless tossing passed; I am now at peace forever, safely home in heaven at last."

She is survived by her husband, Sid Parsell of Caro, MI; her parents, Tommie and Barbara Dawson of Coleman, TX; her two sons, Cody Lambert and wife April of Burleson, TX, & Josh Lambert and fiancAC.e Rebecca Stacy of Midland, TX; two daughters, Shawna Walts and her husband Brian of Caro, MI & Kristin Parsell and her husband Ray of Caro, MI; one sister, Cathy Lacy and her husband Ricky of Ballinger, TX; one brother, Jerry Dawson of Coleman, TX; and 11 grandchildren, Dylan, Gavyn, Cayson, Autumn, Summer, Devin, Shilynn, Dawson, Lexi, Bryce, & Colton.

Graveside Services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, July 05, 2014 at Coleman City Cemetery in Coleman, TX. Flowers and arrangements should be sent to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan, Coleman, TX. Donations can be made to the Toni and Trish House for the Care of the Terminally ILL, 4699 11 Mile Rd, Auburn, MI 48611.
