Jaylin Danae Barnett was born on September 17, 1999 in Abilene, one minute after her twin brother, Daniel Seth Barnett. She lived in Stephenville her entire life and attended school there. Every teacher, nurse and therapist she met loved her. Jaylin was a perfect soul, innocent and sweet and loved by everyone she met. Jaylin was an epilepsy warrior. She helped many families adjust to a life of seizures and was an ambassador for the Dravet Foundation.
Jaylin passed away January 31, 2015 surrounded by her family.
Survivors include her parents, Dan and Brandi Barnett of Abilene; her twin brother, Seth Barnett of Abilene, her baby brothers, William Barnett and Matthew Barnett, both of Abilene; grandparents, Ervin and Brenda Wells of Coleman; Danny O. Barnett of Stephenville and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Jordan Micayla Barnett, grandmother, Treva Barnett and great grandparents, Alice Wells, Luberta Preas and William "Dub" and Wanda Faye "Ma" Barnett.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 West Pecan Street, Coleman. Burial will be in the Coleman City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
Family visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 2, 2015 at Stevens Funeral Home.
