She was born Karen Marie Perrie on December 17, 1971, in Santa Anna, Texas to Lewis Perrie and Barbara Bennett Perrie. Karen grew up in Coleman where she attended school. She worked in merchandising and retail for many years, most recently at SAS. Karen enjoyed making all types of arts and crafts and loved playing bingo. She would also enjoy a lottery scratch off every now and then. Karen absolutely loved crab and shrimp, gummi candy, and Dr. Pepper.
Karen treasured her family and friends. Her infectious laugh and bright smile would light up the room. She was a loving and wonderful mother to Deven and a loyal friend to many. She will be missed.
Preceding Karen in death are her parents; and two sisters, Carla Parks and Donna Sue Perrie.
She is survived by her son, Deven Densman of Austin; two brothers, Allen Perrie of Carriere, Mississippi and Bruce Perrie of Coleman; and host of extended family and friends.
Remembrances and condolences can be expressed to the family via the virtual guestbook on Karen’s tribute page at www.stevensfuneralhome.com. Stevens Funeral Home is honored to serve the Densman family.
