Kathryn Ann O'Diam

Kathryn O'Diam, age 100, formerly of San Antonio, passed from this life to be with the Lord on Friday, December 18, 2015, at Holiday Hill Nursing Home in Coleman, Texas. Graveside services are planned for Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Mission Burial Park South in San Antonio with Gary Bradley officiating.

She was born Kathryn Ann Cook on August 15, 1915 in Neshoba County, Mississippi to James and Bertha Cook. On November 15, 1946, she married Carl E. O'Diam in Santa Fe, New Mexico. They made their home in San Antonio and were married 32 years. Carl preceded her in death in 1978. She is also preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Hester Cook of Denton, Texas and James Cook of Philadelphia, Mississippi.

Kathryn was a member of Baptist Temple Church in San Antonio and the Captain William Buckner Chapter of DAR in Coleman. She was employed as the church secretary for Baptist Temple for 17 years, retiring in 1985. She moved to Coleman in December, 2006.

Survivors include two daughters, Ann Kathryn and husband Collier Watson of Coleman and Sharon Susan and husband Harvey Lasiter of Las Vegas, Nevada. She has four grandchildren, Carl Odom and wife Julie of Corpus Christi, Jason Longobardi and wife Jessica of Las Vegas, Kristin Barnett and husband Michael of Fredericksburg and Stephen Watson and wife Mary of Dripping Springs. Her great grandchildren include Sarah Odom of Corpus Christi, David Odom of Florida, London Warren of Fredericksburg, Kaley and Riley Watson of Dripping Springs, and Edward Longobardi of Las Vegas.

Local arrangements were made by Stevens Funeral Home, Coleman, Texas.
