Kinney Mac Rider

Kinney Mac Rider, 70, of Coleman, died Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2015 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Harmes officiating. Burial will be in the Coleman City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

Kinney Mac Rider was born August 29, 1944 in Coleman to Clifton Lee Rider and Helen Elizabeth McKinney Rider. He grew up in Coleman and graduated from Coleman High School, Class of 1962. He married Roberta Eugenia Wilkins on October 17, 1963. She preceded him in death on January 11, 1998. Kinney Mac worked for the City of Coleman for several years. He later went to work for 3-M in Brownwood and retired after working there for 30 years.

On July 20, 1999, Kinney Mac married Judy Durham in Coleman. Kinney Mac loved hunting and fishing and was a member of Community Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Rider of Coleman, one daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Chipper Anderson of Coleman; one son, Clayton Wade Rider of Dallas; two grandchildren, Luke Anderson, Jed Anderson; two great grandchildren, Grace Anderson, Olivia Anderson; two step-children, Johnny Huddleston and wife, Amanda, of Coleman, Joy Scruggs and husband, Ricky, of Cross Plains; four step-grandchildren; Angela Huddleston, Justin Huddleston, Anthany Huddleston and Britta Scruggs.

Family visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Stevens Funeral Home.
