LaVerne Anna Fain, long time property owner in Coleman passed away January 6, 2015. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 27, 1923. After spending her childhood in Ohio, she moved with family to California where she met the love of her life and future husband, John A. Fain of Coleman, Texas. They ranched in both Coleman and Glendale, Arizona, where John Fain passed away in 1992. LaVerne Fain was a homemaker and mastered all the talents of a ranch wife, mother and partner with her husband.
LaVerne Fain is survived by six children, 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 West Pecan Street, Coleman, with Father Russell Fisher officiating. Burial will be in the Coleman City Cemetery, under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
Her love of life and spontaneous personality will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.
