Lee Arthur Pilot, Jr., a dedicated carrier of automobile parts for many years, has sadly passed away on July 14, 2024, at Coleman County Medical Center in Coleman. 

He was born on January 6, 1958, in Fort Worth, Texas to Lee Arthur Pilot and Susie Sneed Pilot. Lee’s journey began where he was raised in Fort Worth, and he graduated from O.D. Wyatt High School in 1976. He went on to marry the love of his life, Deborah Holloway, on June 12, 1999, in Fort Worth. Lee was a loyal member of Mount Calvary Church of God in Christ and took immense pride in his commitment to both his family and faith.

Described as a man with a heart of gold, Lee had a variety of hobbies and interests which brought him joy. He loved barbequing, dancing, fixing things, and was known for his skills in dominoes. His sense of humor brightened the lives of those around him, and his kindness and caring nature touched many hearts. Lee was an avid Mavericks fan and Dallas Cowboys fan. He took immense pride in supporting his teams and would not rest until the game was over. 

In remembrance of Lee are his beloved wife, Deborah Holloway-Pilot of Coleman; his mother, Suzie Pilot of Fort Worth; his children, Calvin Anderson, Mercedes Barlow, Ola Bailey, and Larry Anderson, all from Fort Worth; as well as his cherished grandchildren - Za'Kairyah, Xa'Kai, Curtis "Baby C", Taveon, Zaden, Derrion, Emoney, Layla, and Loren.

Lee will be dearly missed by his sisters Gwen Reece, Paula Warren, and Sheila Pilot; his aunts, Claudia George, Lula Taylor, Maxine Walker, Reba Davis, Wanda Cortez, Etta Pilot and Lauretta Broadnax; his uncles, George Sneed and Benny Broadnax; special cousin Paul Walker; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Lee is joined in heaven by his father, Lee Aurthur Pilot and his sister, Erma Warren.

Family and friends are invited to a funeral service celebrating his remarkable life at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2024, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman. 

Family and friends are invited to a second funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Greater Love Chapel, 1149 E Rosedale, Fort Worth, Texas 76104. 

A family interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 22, 2024, in the Coleman City Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

Lee Arthur Pilot's legacy lives on through the love he shared with his family and friends. May he rest in peace knowing that he made a positive impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

The family requests with gratitude that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Lee be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
