Lloyd Jack Roberts, 59, of Coleman died Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Coleman County Medical Center. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at First Baptist Church, 200 East College Avenue, Coleman, with Rev. Daniel Stovall officiating. Burial will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery, under the direction of Stevens Funeral home.
Jack was born November 15, 1955 in Odessa, to Cary Altis Roberts and Velma Pauline Landers Roberts Stanley. He grew up in Coleman and graduated from Coleman High School. On January 9, 2000, he married Isabel Pena in Junction. Jack worked in grocery stores most of his life, and was the store manager of the Shoppin' Baskit at the time of his death.
Survivors include his wife, Isabel Roberts of Coleman; five children, Amanda Maikranz of Coleman; Cary Roberts of Eula, Sam Roberts, of Virginia, Gabby Roberts of Austin, Gabriel Roberts of Coleman; one brother, Douglas Roberts of Coleman, one sister, Paula Moten of Ft. Worth; five grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his step-father, Roland Stanley.
Family visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 West Pecan, Coleman.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
