Lucille Morgan

Lucille Brown Morgan, age 95, from Coleman, passed away Sunday afternoon, February 28, 2016, in Houston. Visitation will be on Friday, March 4, 2016, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman. A private internment will be on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Burkett Cemetery at 10:00 am, officiated by Stevens Funeral Home.

Lucille was born January, 19, 1921, in Burkett to Frank and Lillie Brown. She attended school in Burkett and at Kidd Peak School. She married Eldon Anderson Morgan on December 24, 1936 in Burkett and enjoyed 44 years of marriage prior to his passing in 1980. She was the proud mother of Naoma Yvonne Morgan Turnbow. She retired from Jinwright Manufacturing, Coleman after 28 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Morgan, daughter, Yvonne, and son-in-law, Raymond Turnbow. She is survived by four grandsons, Charles, Gary, Jeff and Steve Turnbow and their spouses, Yvonne, Michelle, Anita and Sherry. She has nine great grand-children great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters, Zachary, Nicholas, Jason, Taylor, Joshua, Tyler, Chealsea, Jordan and Hannah, along with one great-great granddaughter, Morgan Kader.
