Patricia Moore

Patricia Ann Moore, 78, of Lake Coleman, died Sunday, January 29, 2017 at her residence. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Lewis officiating, assisted by Mr. Taylor Davis. A committal service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Sinton Cemetery, in Sinton, Texas. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman and Resthaven Funeral Home in Sinton.

She was born Patricia Ann Nelson on September 9, 1938 in Galveston, Texas to Boyd Nelson and Margaret Casner Nelson. She grew up in Sinton and attended school there. On September 9, 1955, she married Charles Moore in Sinton. Mrs. Moore worked as a hospital Ward Clerk in Corpus Christi and in Brownfield. She loved her Eastern Star work, and was Worthy Matron in the Brownfield Order of Eastern Star Chapter. She was a wonderful mother, called "Nana", also known as "Grannie Mo" by her grandchildren. She loved to sew and spend time outside with her husband.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Moore of Lake Coleman; two sons, Gary Moore and wife, Paula, of Levelland, Neal Moore and wife, Stephanie of Merkel; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.

The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Keith Robinson, Dr. LaNourd Bayouth and Darla Good of Hendrick Hospice.

Memorial donations in memory of Mrs. Moore may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
