Pauline Marie Williams

Pauline Marie Williams, 86, of Coleman, died Monday, May 1, 2017 at Coleman County Medical Center. Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 West Pecan Street, Coleman, with Guy Lowe officiating, assisted by Sam Wilson and Bob Martin. Burial will be in the Shields Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

She was born Pauline Marie Lowe on November 17, 1930 in Stephenville to Emmitt Jesse Lowe and Violet Marie Williams Lowe. She grew up in Comanche and Shields and attended school in Santa Anna. On May 13, 1948, she married Grady Williams. He preceded her in death on November 22, 1999. Pauline was a cosmetologist and owned and operated her own beauty shop. She loved everybody and never met a stranger. She was a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ.

Survivors include her children, Donna Faries and husband, J.C., of Coleman, Johnny Williams and wife, Carol, of Coleman; seven grandchildren, Robin Strange and husband, Richard of Aubrey, Jason Williams of Lubbock, Jimmy Williams of Brady, Joy Williams of Hereford, Misty Needham and husband, Johnny, of Coleman, Rowdy Morgan and wife, Stacy, of Thackerville, Oklahoma, Cole Morgan of Thackerville, Oklahoma; 19 great grandchildren and one great grandchild. Pauline is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins including a special cousin, Roena McCoulskey of Carlsbad, two sisters-in-law, Mabel Williams of Coleman, Alma Williams of Andrews, special friend, Donna Cummings of Coleman and extended family, Lil and Butch Fikes of Odessa and Jack and Synthia Henson of Saginaw.

Besides her parents and husband, Pauline was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Gene Lowe.

Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Stevens Funeral Home.
