Rachel Trinidad Ray

Rachel Trinidad Ray, 70, of Arlington and former resident of Santa Anna, died Sunday, April 1, 2018 at her residence. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at First Baptist Church, 201 South Lee Street, Santa Anna, with Rev. Moises Padilla officiating. Burial will be in the Santa Anna Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

She was born Rachel Trinidad on February 27, 1948 in Santa Anna to Pete F. Trinidad and Victoria Montalbo Trinidad. She grew up in Santa Anna, where she attended school. She studied to be a nurse while living in Houston. She loved to travel and look for antiques. Rachel was a member of Compass Christian Church in Colleyville.

Survivors include one daughter, Melanie Ray of Grand Prairie; one granddaughter, Halie Jolly of Bedford; six brothers and sisters, Pete M. Trinidad of Grand Prairie, Ray Trinidad of Arlington, Lorenzo Trinidad of Grand Prairie, Larry Trinidad of McAlester, Oklahoma, Della Garrett of Granbury, Eli Trinidad of Santa Anna and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Landon Ray; one sister, Marcy Martinez; two brothers, Benny Trinidad, Hermilo Trinidad; three nephews, Billy Ray Martinez, Larry Louis Trinidad and Justin White.

There will be a visitation from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 West Pecan Street, Coleman.
