Ralph Kincaid

Ralph Kincaid, age 87, of Novice, died Saturday, July 29, 2017, at the Central Texas Veteran’s Hospital in Temple. Graveside funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 5, at the Midway Cemetery Pavilion, Coleman County, Texas, with Andy Needham officiating. Interment will follow in the Midway Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Coleman.

Ralph Kincaid was born September 3, 1929 in Glen Cove, Coleman County, Texas, a son of Robert Kincaid and Grace Casey Kincaid. He grew up in the Novice area and attended school there. Ralph served his county in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. On December 22, 1951 he married Fern Cummings in Early, Texas and they have celebrated 65 years of marriage. He worked as a mechanic and was an automotive enthusiast who loved working on and rebuilding cars. He was a member of the Novice Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Fern Kincaid of Novice; one son, Mark Kincaid and fiancée Diana of Fort Worth; two grandchildren, Verick Kincaid and Brittney Kincaid both of Burleson; seven brothers, John “Jaker” Kincaid of Notice, Pres Kincaid of Santa Rosa, California, Elery Kincaid of Angleton, C. A. Kincaid of San Antonio, Harlon Kincaid of Fort Worth, Gary Kincaid of Forney and Leon Kincaid of Covington; one sister, Laura McDaniel of Fort Worth.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Ronald Dean Kincaid, three brothers, Frank, Albert and Johnny Ben Kincaid; one sister, Lydia Wisener.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, August 4, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, Coleman, Texas 76834.
