Randy Rhone, age 57, former Coleman resident, died Sunday, February 9, 2014 at a Dallas hospital. Graveside funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, at Coleman Cemetery with Rev. Gary Boyd officiating. Interment will follow in the Coleman Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.


Randy was born June 9, 1956 in Coleman, Texas, a son of George Donald Rhone and Patsy Joan McNutt Rhone. He grew up in Coleman where he also attended school. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Coleman.


Survivors include his wife, Jean of Fort Worth; two sons, David Rhone and Donald Rhone both of Fort Worth; a step-daughter, Holly Barrow and husband Ernie and their son Eric all of Dallas; his mother, Patsy Rhone of Granbury; one sister, Rosanne Rhone of Granbury; two brothers, Roddy Rhone of Granbury, Rusty Rhone and wife Kim and their children, Madison and Braden of Dallas; a niece, Kara Witten of Austin; aunt, Joyce Rhone of San Angelo and a cousin, Rhonda Chapman of Austin.


He was preceded in death by his dad, Don Rhone; a brother, Ryan and his grandparents all of Coleman.


Family visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 11 at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 West Pecan Street Coleman.
