She was born Rebecca Frances Hubbard on July 12, 1964 in Santa Anna to Adolphus Lee Hubbard, Jr. and Mary Jane Burch Hubbard. Becky grew up in Coleman County and graduated from Novice High School in 1983. She then attended school to become a floral designer. Becky married Roy Hoover on December 22, 2001 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Coleman. With this union came one daughter, Faith, whom she loved and adored with all her heart. Becky worked at Stemple Manufacturing and then became a home healthcare assistant for Tri-Star Home Health out of Cisco. Becky loved caring for people, especially the elderly. She currently worked at Owl Drug Store where she delivered medications to people. Becky loved this job because she could converse and see her friends. She never met a stranger and had such a positive attitude. Becky loved to travel and spend time on the beach. She enjoyed her flower garden and arranging flowers. She also had a soft spot in her heart for all animals, especially dogs. Becky served as vice president for the Coleman Band Boosters Club for several years and was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Coleman. If Becky could say one last thing, she would say “I love you all, always have, always will.”
Becky is preceded in death by her parents, Adolphus and Mary Jane Hubbard, and brother-in-law, Randy French.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Dan Hoover of Coleman; her daughter, Faith Hoover of Coleman; her son, Brandon Alan Hoover and wife Jami of Abilene; two granddaughters, Kyra and Mia Hoover of Abilene; one brother, Charles Hubbard and wife Jeannie of Bangs; two sisters-in-law, Beatrice Phillips and husband Mark of Santa Anna, and Jeanne French of Coleman; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
