Reynaldo "Ray" Adame

Reynaldo "Ray” Adame, age 87, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023 in Coleman, Texas, where he stood firmly for almost all of his life.  The family will host a viewing at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 West Pecan in Coleman, Texas, beginning at 5:00 P.M. on Friday, February 17, 2023 with a Holy Rosary following at 6:00 P.M. Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 303 East College Avenue in Coleman, at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 18.  Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Coleman City Cemetery.

He was born in Trickham, Texas to Manuel and Angelina Adame on April 1, 1935. He married Virginia Gutierrez Rodriguez on February 25, 1963. Together, they raised their family of six children in Coleman, Texas.

Reynaldo was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Angelina Adame, and his siblings Anita Gutierrez, Maria Andrade, Sally Gonzales, and Jesse Sanchez.

Reynaldo is survived by his wife Virginia Adame; his six children Nicolas Adame, Veronica Aaron, Magdalena Belury, Rosalinda Adame-Moylan, Reynaldo Adame, and Jaime Adame; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and two sisters Modesta Rosales and Dora Flores.
