Richard Henderson Wisener

Richard Henderson Wisener, age 89, of Coleman, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at Coleman County Medical Center. Graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2015, at the Talpa Cemetery Pavilion. Interment will follow in the Talpa Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.

He was born June 28, 1926 in Coleman, Texas, a son of the late Richard Parmley Wisener and Essie Lee Davis Wisener. He grew up in Coleman where he also attended school. He worked in the oilfield and was a Baptist.

Survivors include two step-sons, Robbie Jones and wife Lorna of Sonora and Pete Jones and wife Janice of Bangs; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Wisener; two sisters, Nita Hubbard and Leola Wilson; two brothers, Dale Wisener and Wayne Wisener.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 17, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 West Pecan Street, Coleman, Texas.
