Robert Dale Martinez

Robert Martinez, age 47, of Anson, and formerly of Coleman, died Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Medical City Lewisville.

Family and friends are invited to a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

He was born Robert Dale Martinez on September 11, 1974, in San Angelo, Texas to Robert Martinez and Angelina Morales Martinez. Robert grew up in Coleman where he attended school. He was a jack of all trades working in Corpus Christi, owning his own Scentsy business, and working for InTouch phone and wireless. Robert was a family-oriented person. He loved his family and friends. He enjoyed cooking outdoors on his grill preparing steaks and other great foods. He also enjoyed being outdoors on the beach in Corpus Christi. Robert was always there for his children, giving them encouragement or advice to guide them down their path. His loving spirit, kindness, and generosity will be missed.

Preceded Robert in death is his father, Robert Martinez.

He is survived by his fiancée, Shawna Holt of Anson; his mother, Angelina Felipe and husband Samuel Mejia of Anson; his children, Britney Martinez-Gardner of Anson, Devin Martinez of Abilene, Damion Martinez of Clyde, Kolton Keeney of Santa Anna, and Sebastian Martinez of Anson; four grandchildren, Paizlee Gardner, Carlee Gardner, Harmony Martinez, and Zaylee Pricer; two sisters, Rachel Reese and husband David of Abilene, Elizabet Kuntz and husband Kirtis of Corpus Christi; and one brother, Randy Martinez of Corpus Christi.
