Ronald Glenn Roberson, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025, at Coleman County Medical Center, at the age of 77. Glenn was born on April 8, 1947, in Atlanta, Texas, and spent much of his early life in Iraan and Midland, where he graduated from Iraan High School.
With a distinguished career in the oil field industry, Glenn oversaw transactions and daily operations for several oil companies. His dedication and love for his work were evident throughout his successful career, reflecting both his professional acumen and passion for the industry.
A proud veteran, Glenn served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. This experience shaped him into the resilient individual that family and friends came to know and respect.
Glenn was a person of great character and generosity. He loved his family deeply and cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren. His legacy will live on through the love and memories he cultivated with his family, including his life partner, Jonita Mann of Coleman; his four sons, Jay Roberson of Weatherford, Brian Roberson of Odessa, Travler Roberson of Coleman and Michael Wilson of Houston; and his adored grandchildren, Joseph Roberson, Ashlynn Roberson, Jaylie Roberson, Kylar Roberson, Makayla Roberson, Kaiden Roberson, Peyton Roberson, and Bryson Roberson.
He is also survived by one brother, Robby Roberson, and two sisters, Elaine Sullivan and Linda Roberson. Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, William Roberson and Lila Lee Clause Roberson, and one brother, Mark Roberson.
In addition to his family, Glenn had a zest for life that included a fondness for the outdoors and a love of fishing. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need, showcasing his giving spirit that endeared him to many.
Family and friends are invited to a funeral service celebrating his life at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman with Chad Anders officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.
Glenn leaves behind a profound legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering support for his family and friends, who will remember him fondly for the joy and light he brought into their lives.
