Rose Canales

After her courageous battle with cancer, Rose Canales passed away from this earth into her Savior's presence on June 9, 2014, at the age of 61. She lived in Coleman, Texas. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, Manuel and Paz Basquez. Rose is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, George Canales, Jr., her three sons, Chris Canales, Daniel Canales, Steven Canales and his wife Melissa Canales; grandkids, Mercadese, Melina, Lileana and Steven Canales, Jr., as well as six sisters and three brothers.

The Canales family would like to thank Hendrick Hospital and Hendrick Hospice for all their outstanding work. Special thanks to Lisha, Kim and Dr. Balbastro. We would also like to thank Dalia Cayenne for seeing her through everything and always being there.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society in honor of Rose Canales.

Memorial service will be at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 W. Pecan Street, at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14.
