Sandra Elaine (Tomlinson) McKeehan

Sandra Elaine Tomlinson McKeehan, age 70, of Coleman, died Saturday, May 22, 2021, at Coleman County Medical Center.  Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, in Stevens Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will greet friends at the conclusion of the service.

Sandra Elaine Tomlinson was born July 25, 1950  in Coleman, a daughter of Cleo Seldon Tomlinson and Viola Valentine Magenason Tomlinson.  She grew up and attended school in Coleman, graduating in the Class of 1968.  She attended Angelo State University before moving to Dallas.  In Dallas, she met Teddy Ray McKeehan and they married on March 20, 1971.  Following their marriage, they lived in Dallas and Cross Plains.   He preceded her in death on February 25, 2003.  She graduated from the LVN program through Cisco Junior College.  Sandra moved back to Coleman where she worked as a licensed vocational nurse at Coleman County Medical Center for 25 years.  She retired three weeks ago.  She loved and cared for her family and will be deeply missed by them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter, Becky Bland on October 15, 2009, and her sister, Toni Burrage.

She is survived by her son, Shawn McKeehan of Coleman; four granddaughters, Kristen McKowen and husband Chris of San Angelo, Caitlyn Bland of Cross Plains, Audrey McKeehan and Lauren McKeehan both of Coleman; two great-granddaughters, Anastasia McKowen and Rebecca McKowen; one sister, Ginger Orr and husband Frank of Ft. Worth.
