Tina Mae Dodson

Tina Dodson, 89, of Denver, Colorado, died Saturday, January 6, 2018 at her residence. Graveside funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Daniel Stovall officiating. Burial will be in the Coleman City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

She was born Tina Mae Griffith on September 16, 1928 in Sweetwater, Texas, the daughter of Jess Griffith and Nellie Haggerton Griffith. She moved with her parents to Coleman in 1937 and attended school here. She was married to Teddy Mack Dodson and they lived in Coleman until 1955, when they moved to Denver. She was a bookkeeper at a retail appliance store.

Tina was a wonderful mother to Betsy and a loving wife to Ted. She and Ted had a bond that could not be broken.

She is survived by her husband, Ted Dodson of Denver, Colorado; nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her only child, Betsy Louella Dodson, who died April 28, 2017.
