Wanda Sue Eaton, age 62, of Coleman, died Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Holiday Hill Nursing Home. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 13, in Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darrell Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Cleveland Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
She was born Wanda Sue Wilkins on February 7, 1955, in Coleman, a daughter of Albert and Ruth Chaffin Wilkins. She grew up in Coleman and attended school here. She had worked as a nurse’s aide at Coleman County Medical Center. She enjoyed crafting, especially ceramics and woodworking. She was a member of the Assembly of God church.
She is survived by her daughter, TaLonda Nabors and husband Kenny of Coleman; her son, Cliff Hernandez and wife Amanda of Waco; eight grandchildren, Hailey Faubion, Quinton Thompson, Payton Hunt, Gatlin Hunt, Aurora Hernandez, Allora Larue, Tera Hernandez, Dominik Hernandez; one great-grandson, Brock Faubion; three siblings, Dewayne Wilkins of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Rita Rosalez of Coleman and Darrell Wilkins of Coleman; eight nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 12, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, Coleman, Texas.
